Huntington, West Virginia Herald-Dispatch Article January 1, 2019 Concerning SOARA’S presentation, Ham Radio From Across the Street to Outer Space

What a way to start 2019 with this outstanding news article in the January 1, Huntington, West Virginia, Herald-Dispatch newspaper about the Southern Ohio Amateur Radio Association and the Briggs Lawrence County Public Library. We are looking forward to the January 19^th Ham Radio presentation “From across the Street to Outer Space.”  Additionally, Tim Nicely, AC9VQ 2019 President and James Rowe, N8TVO 2018 President will present a donation from the members of  the Southern Ohio Amateur Association (SOARA).  The donation is a  ARRL Limited Edition Six-Volume Boxed Set Handbook.   Joe Jenkins, Director of the Briggs Lawrence County Public Library will be accepting the donation.  

Everyone is invited for the January 19^th event.  Please forward this email with the attachments to anyone who may have a n interest in attending.  We would like to completely fill the multipurpose conference room.
